Dear Friends, as the ISGE meeting has become a traditional event in the world of Gynecological Endocrinology,
we invite you to participate to the 12th World Congress, to be held from the 2nd to the 5th March
2006 in Florence.
With the experience of the previous meeting, we intend to maintain the new and dynamic way of building
up our scientific program, so that everyone should feel free to suggest new areas of basic research or
clinical investigation worth of being covered during our Congress. |

The major goals of our next meeting will be:
- Promote the participation to ISGE of young scientists;
- Make use of ISGE for the promotion of collaborative international research development and funding;
- Attract private companies interested in funding ISGE research/clinical groups or individual society
members in order to have scientific expertise or the performance of clinical trials or basic research;
- Develop new ways of access to the scientific sessions, both during as well as after the meeting, through
the chance of online internet fruition of the scientific sessions. This will provide the unique opportunity
to scientists who do not have the chance to come to the Congress venue to have full access to the scientific
sessions. Moreover, it will also provide the chance for scientists who choose to present their work in Florence
to have an audience throughout the world, therefore making this Congress even more attractive than it already
is. Moreover the development of a stable web resource where the scientific contents of the ISGE meeting can
be accessed will enormously enrich our Society, by providing an invaluable educational tool, as well as a
Web-based place for scientists to meet, interconnect and develop relationships and partnerships.
I feel that the ISGE is doing the best possible efforts to be a leader in this phenomenal innovation,
and I ask everyone of you to contribute with ideas, personal energy and initiative to help us make our
Society more and more successful in the future.
