The Congress as a scientific competition |
The Congress will be organized with 6 Plenary Lectures, 7 State-of-the-Art Sessions, 14 Sessions on Frontiers in Gynecological Endocrinology.
In addition Sponsored Symposia, Round Tables, Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions will be available as well as Symposia organized by Scientific Societies acting in the same area as the International Society of Gynecologycal Endocrinology.

The Executive Committee has agreed to select one abstract to be included in each State-of-the-Art and Frontiers in Gynecological Endocrinology Session. The Executive Committee has also decided to organize 3 Special Symposia on Clinical Practice as well as 4 Symposia on Advanced Research where all speakers will be given the opportunity to present their work through a selection among all abstracts received. Each session will include 5 speakers for 15 minutes of presentation each plus 5 minutes of discussion. The topics will be chosen among the topics listed further on.
Furthermore each member of the Society will be allowed to propose an entire symposium to be evaluated by the Committee, who will decide if the proposed symposium should be accepted and who will also have the right to introduce one possible extra speaker. The deadline for submission is November 1st, 2005.
Accepted abstracts not selected for the competition will be included in the Programme for Oral Presentation or Poster Sessions. Those interested in the competition are kindly requested to submit their abstract to argenazzani@tiscali.it, specifying OPEN COMPETITION and the State-of-the-Art or Frontiers in Gynecological Endocrinology Session they are competing for. The deadline for submission is December 1st, 2005.
The selection of Abstracts does not exclude the necessity of the registration fee, thus the abstract must always be accompanied by the payment not later than December 31, 2005.

You are kindly invited to submit an abstract to be considered for the following presentations: State-of-the Art Sessions, Symposia, Oral Presentations and Posters.
All abstracts have to be received by the Scientific Secretariat not later than December 12th, 2005.

Instructions for Abstracts |
For all presentations, the participants are invited to submit a summary in English of their presentation without references according to the following instructions:
- Typewrite in single space (Times New Roman 10);
- Title, Authors, Affiliation. Please specify the full name of the presenting author;
- The text must not exceed 250 words.
Please, out of the format repeat the presenter's name, affiliation, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail. Also, please specify if you want to participate to the Open Competition.

Fax submissions will not be accepted.

In order to publish the abstract in the Book of Abstracts (supplement of Gynecological Endocrinology), authors are requested to pay the registration fee not later that December 31, 2005.
All abstracts not accompanied by the payment of the fee within this date will be automatically removed from all records.
As a rule, each registrant can present one oral presentation and one poster or, alternatively, two posters.
